Anikka Castle, MS, LPC
Anikka is a Licensed Professional Counselor who obtained a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona majoring in Psychology and Family Studies and Human Development. Anikka obtained her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling at Grand Canyon University. Anikka specializes in areas of focus of physical/emotional/sexual abuse, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, relationship problems, marital conflicts, PTSD, and assist with resolving different life stressors (i.e., work, financial). Anikka uses an eclectic approach that is tailored to meet each individual’s needs.
Anikka has ten years of experience working in the behavioral health field in several different settings and level of care. Anikka has worked in teenage group homes, psychiatric hospitals, state psychiatric hospitals, in-home settings, residential facilities, domestic violence shelters, and outpatient clinics. Anikka has participated in extra training to utilize CBT interventions for individuals suffering from substance abuse and co-occurring disorders in the form of individual counseling and group counseling sessions. Anikka has been trained in and conducts virtual EMDR therapy sessions.
Jessica Shetzen, MSW, LCSW
Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing in Arizona for 9 years. Jessica obtained her education at Arizona State University, including dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Sociology and Justice Studies, and completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2015. Jessica has experience working in various treatment settings, including acute inpatient, outpatient, public behavioral services, medical facilities, and completed various rotations at the Phoenix VA Medical Center during internship. Jessica has been in private practice since 2020.
Jessica specializes in working with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, women’s issues, relationship problems, and general life stressors. Jessica is an LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist and strives to treat individuals with the dignity, respect and affirmation that they deserve.
Jessica’s approach to therapy is eclectic, in that it is uniquely tailored to each individual. Methodologies may include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, and Person-Centered therapies. Jessica believes that a key component to the client/therapist relationship is acting as herself – not a stuffy professional in an armchair. In her personal life, Jessica is a loving wife and mother, and is passionate about her numerous animal family members.
